Colin Ball headshotHello, I am Colin Ball, Digital Marketing Specialist at B² Interactive. I graduated from Creighton University here in Omaha with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with focus in News and Advertising and I was lucky enough to find my first job here at B² Interactive upon graduating.

I found early on at Creighton that I had a growing passion for writing. I may not have been very good at it at first, but in four years, I definitely came a long way. At B² Interactive, I work alongside the members of our content doing a lot with SEO and interactive marketing projects for our local clients and work on our own web properties. Search Engine Optimization is an exciting field to be a part of because of how much it can do for business. Also, the fact that every day brings on new challenges and learning opportunities makes me even more excited to immerse myself into it further.

Like many of the others here at B² Interactive, I also have a passion for all things technology, including social media, the tech industry, and how technology shapes our industry as a whole. The growing passions I have for learning what more the Internet can do for big and small companies alike is what drives me every day. We have only begun to conquer the Internet because of its daily changes and innovations. With B² Interactive, I hope to be an integral member of finding what more the Internet can bring to both our company and to our clients, as well.

Notes about me: unlike the majority of the B² Interactive staff, I did not grow up in Omaha nor do I like the Huskers. I am from the suburbs of Chicago, namely Naperville. Once again, I did not grow up a Husker fan, nor will I become one, even after protests by friends and college roommates. I grew up cheering for Purdue (yes, Purdue) and will continue to do so until I have nothing more to give. Aside from Purdue, I do show my pride in being a Creighton alumnus and do my best to follow their sports teams. Finally, as a Chicago “resident” my whole life, Chicago sports are my thing. The Bears, Bulls, Cubs, and Blackhawks will bring out the worst in me, but I’m always hoping for that next championship run.
